New year, new look! At Gympro, our goal is simple: to continually improve the services we offer in order to help you deliver world class service through innovative client management solutions. It is this outlook that sets us apart, and that led to an overhaul of the Gympro features. We have taken what’s good and made it even better. What this means for YOU is an even more efficient and effective management tool – and we’re pretty sure you will love it. Check out what’s new below!
Tidier, more intuitive navigation
You will now find a new navigation design to make accessing and editing your data quicker and easier. There are now four main areas grouping information relating to each major aspect of your business: Clients, Scheduler, Progress and Account.
More efficient use of space
As of now, what you see on your Gympro screen is what you need! Instead of having the client selection list showing on multiple pages, we replaced the client selection process with simple drop downs, and only at the areas that require you to select a client. This is easier and faster to use because you don't have to select a client first (which refreshed the page), you can do it on the fly with the drop downs.
Scheduler revamp
With the new scheduler, you can add sessions for a selected day much faster and easier than before. Also added to make things run smoother is automatically setting the "Finish time" to 1 hour after the selected session start time. Previously this was all done in the background, but now you can see exactly what's happening in the drop downs.
SMS Reminders (NEW)
Communicating with your clients just got made a whole lot easier! Forget sending manual text messages, Gympro now allows you to send customized automated messages to your clients, all at the click of a button. What’s better than this? We've included this as part of your monthly plan, so you get this new feature absolutely free. Judging by the feedback we’ve already received for it, it’s going to be a hit!
Improved programme creation
We've introduced a huge amount of flexibility in our "Programmes" module. From your feedback we discovered that limiting you to choosing exercises by category only was not a good idea. So we upgraded the programme creation process to allow you to either type in a blank exercise, choose one from our suggested list (which comes up as you type) or browse by category. Another huge timesaver is that you can now select a previous workout and just modify it slightly and then save it as a new workout. This is handy if you only want to change a small subset of the exercises in a particular programme.
New pricing structure
Firstly, all current members get upgraded to our Platinum plan. No pricing changes at all for you, but you get all the new features. Thanks for supporting us. For future members all plan prices will be in USD currency. After researching the budgeting limitations of personal trainers and also consulting them about their preferences, we came up with a very affordable and competitive pricing scheme. Easy client management now costs less than half of what a typical personal trainer charges per session. And that's per month - cool ha!
Client groups have been taken out
With the new reminder functionality & also the new pricing structure introduced, we were left with a dilemma when we tried to tackle client groups. We focused on perfecting the interface for single clients, when we tried to fit in the client groups it just didn't look right. It felt cluttered. What's more is that our pricing doesn't allow for bigger groups. As you know some personal trainers focus exclusively on group sessions. Some client groups can get pretty big and this is a whole new challenge that needs to be left for a later date. There is only so much you can fit into a product before it becomes diluted and looses that sweet spot of just enough features.
We hope you find using the new version more enjoyable and effective – we will continue to refine the system in positive ways in order to help you deliver exceptional results and make management of your business easy of possible. Also big thanks to a few members that helped us tackle a few tiny bugs in the early days of the release.
